Much like the eyes of Doctor T. J. Eckleburg, the mural of Toulouse-Lautrec’s poster of the singer Aristide Bruant stares down upon Adams Morgan, surveying (and perhaps judging) the denizens and revelers down on 18th Street. While the Cafe Lautrec is no longer, the art remains (for now) and is as much a part of the Adams Morgan landscape as international street food and cold draft beer. Old DC heads will remember the Cafe Lautrec as a jazz-piano cafe-bar with pretty decent food, but it now serves as a vibrant memory of a rapidly-vanishing Washington DC nightlife culture. But hey, at least you can adorn your wall with this print and remember when...

This is printed via Giclée, a high end archival printing process that layers inks in a similar fashion to screening. The colors POP and the image is very sharp!

Paper stock is Moab Entrada Rag Natural - a warm white, 100% cotton, slightly textured, smooth fine art surface. All available options are standard frame sizes found at your local craft store, frame shop or IKEA! (frame NOT included)
