Georgetown Theatre, Washington DC Giclée Art Print (Multi-size options)

New for 2022! As always, please allow two weeks to ship.

This marquee is one of the most ubiquitous landmarks in all of DC! The theatre originally opened as the Dumbarton Theatre in August 1913 as a 460-seat playhouse, which started showing movies sometime later on. The movie house was renamed the Georgetown Theatre in February 1950 and had a great run until it closed in 1986. It's been a bunch of things since then, currently a pretty nice Caribou Coffee. But as long as that sign stays lit though, you know you are home!

This is printed via Giclée, a high end archival printing process that layers inks in a similar fashion to screening. The colors POP and the image is very sharp!

Paper stock is Moab Entrada Rag Natural - a warm white, 100% cotton, slightly textured, smooth fine art surface. All available options are standard frame sizes found at your local craft store, frame shop or IKEA! (frame NOT included)
