Living in Porter Square in the 90's without a car, Cambridge was my stomping grounds. I worked in Kendall Square but spent a LOT of time in Central Square for damn near everything - hardware stores, coffee shops, and, oh yeah... LIVE MUSIC! The Middle East was my one-stop shop for food, beer and all flavors of entertainment. From solo acts upstairs in the bakery to the loud raucous bands in the basement, it truly had it all for me.

The landscape has changed drastically since then. From gentrification to controversial management to a now uncertain future for this venue due to COVID, the times they are a'changing... but I still hold very fond memories of what once was. Most of my favorite haunts from that lovely bygone era are either a distant memory or are hanging on by a thread. I've always used venerable music venues as my design inspiration, but these days it seems just a little more important to me than before. Maybe you feel the same way?

This is printed via Giclée, a high end archival printing process that layers inks in a similar fashion to screening. The colors POP and the image is very sharp!

Paper stock is Moab Entrada Rag Natural - a warm white, 100% cotton, slightly textured, smooth fine art surface. All available options are standard frame sizes found at your local craft store, frame shop or IKEA! (frame NOT included)
