Zipperhead, Philadelphia PA Giclée Art Print (Multi-size options)
New for 2022! As always, please allow two weeks to ship.
"One Saturday I took a walk to Zipperhead... I met a girl there and she almost knocked me dead..." Yeah, you know it, I know it, and the Dead Milkmen sure as hell know it. Zipperhead started outfitting punks like you way back in 1980... hell, it's where I bought my first pair of Docs! If you were trolling South Street back in the day, you knew damn well where to go for some Manic Panic or a freshie Ramones shirt, right?
The ants! The zipper bisecting the building! The smell of AquaNet! The place sure had it all... and lucky for all of us it still lives on right around the corner as Crash Bang Boom! The ants are still crawling up the old building on South Street, save for one who managed to make its way above the new shop on 4th Street. Philly is about as punk as town as they come so I am glad that the shop is still around for my own son to come visit. You should come pay it a visit, too...
This is printed via Giclée, a high end archival printing process that layers inks in a similar fashion to screening. The colors POP and the image is very sharp!
Paper stock is Moab Entrada Rag Natural - a warm white, 100% cotton, slightly textured, smooth fine art surface. All available options are standard frame sizes found at your local craft store, frame shop or IKEA! (frame NOT included)
