The doorway underneath the Atlantic Building sign stood sentry for the myriad wild times, cool bands and rad denizens that could be found just down the long hallway inside. While the outside of the place was batshit crazy on show nights, I took a different perspective for this print: the entrance in repose. The transom and doorway had such character that I felt they needed to be spotlighted all unto themselves. The neighborhood may have gone high-end since the 80s, but we still have our memories, right?
