Zipperhead started outfitting punks like you way back in 1980... hell, it's where I bought my first pair of Docs! If you were trolling South Street back in the day, you knew damn well where to go for some Manic Panic or a freshie Ramones shirt, right?

The ants! The zipper bisecting the building! The smell of AquaNet! The place sure had it all... and lucky for all of us it still lives on right around the corner as Crash Bang Boom! The ants are still crawling up the old building on South Street, save for one who managed to make its way above the new shop on 4th Street. Philly is about as punk as town as they come so I am glad that the shop is still around for my own son to come visit. You should come pay it a visit, too...
