Yeah, I lived in the Fenway back in the 90s... and it was pretty damn cool. Spitting distance (yes, that was a not-so-veiled reference to Spit) to Lansdowne Street, I had the world on a string... clubs and nightspots galore! Axis, Avalon, Bill's Bar, the Rat, Venus De Milo... and yeah, even Mama Kin once or twice... these were my playgrounds.

Axis was the place to dance. Yeah, I liked to cut a rug every now and again. Spit was a little before my time in town but man, based on photos I've seen on Facebook it looks like I would have loved it! I am jealous of the folks who got to experience it and can only imagine how rad that scene was. If you were there, maybe you need this print in your life (and on your wall)?
