1984... that Orwellian year that saw the demise of one of the most humorously named bars in Cambridge: Inn-Square Men's Bar. The puzzle pieces of this neighborhood haunt's name fell into place just perfectly. Very Dada.
It was an indie rock club, it was a local's watering hole, it was something irreplaceable. The Cambridge I remember is pretty much a beautiful memory these days, but it's one that I cherish. And you do too, right? So why don't ya just go ahead and buy this here print? The good times can rock and roll again, even if only on the wall of your kitchen, rumpus room or man-cave!
Like most of my prints of bygone nightspots, I rely on found images as reference points in making my drawings. This piece was informed by one of the only photos I've been able to find that clearly shows the bar's exterior, which was taken by Bobbie Halliday. Big thanks to Bobbie for being cool with me using it!
All available options are standard frame sizes found at your local craft store, frame shop or IKEA! (frame NOT included)
